BEYOND THE 4C'S OF DIAMONDS
The 4Cs have since become the standard for describing a diamond’s specific characteristics. Each of the 4 C’s (Cut, Color, Clarity and Carat) plays a role in a diamond’s beauty and value, though it is difficult to decipher one component by itself. As a comprehensive whole, the 4 Cs interact with one another within each diamond, giving each diamond its distinct physical attributes.
CUT
When it comes to diamonds, you want yours to light up the room. From the 4 C's, a diamond's cut significantly influences its fire, sparkle and brilliance. The better the cut, the more intense sparkle and light return you achieve. Precise artistry and artistry ensure that every Diamanti lab diamond is adequately proportioned and cut to achieve the ideal balance of brilliance, dispersion and scintillation.
Light will enter and exit through the crown to the eye in a well-proportioned and symmetrical diamond, usually known as an Ideal or Excellent cut Diamond. A poorly cut diamond, however, allows too much light to escape through the sides and bottom. As a result, a diamond with a poor cut will appear dull, even if it has good color and clarity. Diamanti lab diamonds and gemstones are cut to Ideal proportions, capturing light and reflecting the top of the stone, creating maximum brilliance and fire similar to the best-cut diamonds and gems.
Clarity
A high-end diamond's clarity is a testament to its impeccable purity and transparency, revealing a flawless interior devoid of discernible blemishes or inclusions. These diamonds, often graded as internally flawless (IF) or very slightly included (VVS) on the GIA clarity scale, embody a standard of perfection unrivalled in fine jewelry. Their flawless nature ensures they radiate brilliance and sparkle with a rare, ethereal luminosity.
These natural internal birthmarks are called inclusions. Though nearly all diamonds have inclusions, the most prized diamonds are flawless. The fewer the inclusions, the rarer the diamond will be graded, and the more light it will reflect, resulting in a beautiful sparkle. Diamanti lab diamonds, on average, are rated at VS1/VVS1.

Color
A high-end diamond's Colour is a sublime testament to its rarity and exceptional quality, showcasing a pure and mesmerizing absence of discernible hues. These diamonds, often graded as D to F on the GIA colour scale, possess an exquisite icy brilliance, reflecting an uncompromising dedication to perfection in their cutting and polishing.
Their immaculate, colourless beauty ensures they are the pinnacle of sophistication and luxury in fine jewelry. Colourless diamonds are sought after for their breathtaking purity and radiance. Diamanti lab diamonds have an equivalent D to F colour. All our stones are exclusively restricted to the top colorless grades.
Carat
A carat is a unit of measure for diamond weight and is evaluated on a point system. One carat is equivalent to 100 points; a half-carat diamond is 50 points, and so on. Although diamonds come in many weights, one-carat diamonds are found in nature less often than smaller diamonds and are, therefore, much more expensive. For this reason, a one-carat diamond costs far more than two half-carat diamonds of the same cut, colour and clarity.
Two diamonds of the same carat weight may appear to be different sizes depending on how the diamond is cut. An Excellent/Ideal cut diamond will appear larger than many diamonds of a heavier carat weight. Diamanti lab diamonds are always cut perfectly and appear more significant than a standard-cut diamond. Because a Diamanti lab diamond is created, you have the luxury of buying a much larger-sized diamond for a fraction of the price.
