Every Quorri PURE® lab grown diamond starts with a tiny diamond seed — a sliver of real diamond crystal. From there, one of two advanced processes takes over:
CVD (Chemical Vapor Deposition)
The seed is placed inside a sealed chamber filled with carbon-rich gases. Microwaves heat the gases until carbon atoms break free and deposit onto the seed layer by layer — slowly building a rough diamond crystal over several weeks.
HPHT (High Pressure High Temperature)
The seed is subjected to pressures exceeding 1.5 million PSI and temperatures above 2,700°F — recreating the extreme conditions found 100 miles beneath the earth's surface. Carbon melts and crystallizes around the seed, forming a diamond.
Both methods produce PURE® diamonds that are physically, chemically, and optically identical to mined diamonds. Once grown, each rough stone is hand-selected by our Canadian team, then cut, polished, and independently graded by IGI before it reaches you.
Stage 1 — The Diamond Seed
A microscopic diamond crystal seed is placed inside an advanced growth chamber — the foundation from which every PURE® diamond is born.
