As much as we appreciate nature, there is always something that we can improve on in what the world has to offer. Diamonds are definitely one of those things. The creation of the Quorri simulated diamond is one improvement that is well received in the efforts to save the environment, eco-systems and habitants from the mining impact of diamonds.

Diamond Mining is extremely bad for the environment. Whether it is open pit, alluvial, marine, or underground mining, diamond mining uses and emits a tremendous amount of energy, causes massive land disturbance and severe erosion from the removal of soil, leads to silting of rivers, and has a detrimental impact on the biodiversity in surrounding areas.
When a diamond mine is exhausted, the procedure for closing the mine is unregulated and little infrastructure is in place to restore the ecosystem. The extracted material is not always replaced, or not replaced properly, leaving the former ecosystem unable to restore itself. These open mines and millions of tons of processed material cause many problems with water pollution and leaves the land unsuitable for farming or other uses, susceptible to severe erosion and flooding
Contrary to mining, no water or air pollution results from the creation of Quorri stone. There are no greenhouse emissions, no devastated ecosystems associated with it, nor do we use hazardous chemicals, radiation or other environmentally dangerous substances and processes.
