Creation
While standard Cubic Zirconia (CZ) and other simulants are mass produced, cheaply imported and designed for low-end jewelry, the Quorri DymondIX exists in a class all its own. Using highly advanced techniques and created from only the finest materials, these incredible stones are designed to look and perform exactly like genuine mined diamonds.

The birth of a Quorri DymondIX^® begins with a specialized formula comprised of white crystalline oxide, rare minerals and other elements to create a unique mix that enhances the Quorri core. This perfected core is then enhanced with our Ti02 Optical Layer and protected with our SP3 Carbon Layer, endowing each stone with incredible diamond lustre and increased durability. In other words, while a diamond rates a 10 on the Mohs hardness scale, a Quorri DymondIX rates an impressively close 9.1 overall. In comparison, standard CZs, which are simply made from zirconium and oxygen, only rate somewhere between 7.5 to 8.5.

Brilliance
Standard CZs and other simulants are poorly made with inferior materials that easily attract dirt, skin oils and everyday products. These contaminants are quickly absorbed into the stone, resulting in a loss of luster and increasing cloudiness over time.

Cut
As demonstrated by their “un-faceted” or “glassy” look and their poor ability to reflect light, CZs and other simulants are machine cut and not polished or finished by hand.

Because they are created to exacting diamond standards, Quorri DymondIX^® stones are hand-cut by renowned diamond cutters to Ideal/Excellent proportions, allowing light to travel throughout for intense diamond sparkle and brilliance. They are then expertly polished, further enhancing their fire for true diamond realism.

Most standard CZs are set in lightweight silver or gold electroplating that will eventually fade and tarnish with daily wear. Pieces made with CZ look fake, like costume jewelry, and can easily be spotted as imposters by most of us, even at a distance.
