Diamond Carat Weight

Quorri 4 C's

In selecting a diamond, the rarity, value and beauty is determined by factors called the 4C's: Cut, Clarity, Color , and Carat. The 4 C's work together, not individually, in determining what makes a diamond beautiful. Quorri uses the best attributes from the four C’s and goes one step beyond with two additional C’s, Cost and Customer Service. Going beyond the 4 C's has contributed in making the Quorri, one of the world's most desired Diamond simulants with added satisfaction and value.

Carat

A carat is a unit of measure for diamond weight and is evaluated on a point system. One carat is equivalent to 100 points; a half-carat diamond is fifty points and so on. Although diamonds come in many weights, one carat diamonds are found in nature less often than smaller diamonds and are therefore much more expensive. For this reason, a one carat diamond costs far more than two half-carat diamonds of the same cut, color and clarity.

Two diamonds of the same carat weight may appear to be different sizes depending on how the diamond is cut. An Excellent/Ideal cut diamond will appear larger than many diamonds of a heavier carat weight. Quorri stones are always cut perfectly and appear larger than a standard cut diamond. Because a Quorri is created, you have the luxury of buying a larger sized diamond for a fraction of the price.
